Britney Spears and 'Les Miserables' star Russell Crowe have noticed an uncanny resemblance between their outfits in the movie and her 'Toxic' music video, starting what may be one of the funniest twitter exchanges of 2013 so far. 

The 'Lucky' tweeted a pic of Crowe's get-up as Javert in 'Les Miserables' and her own garb in the video for hit single 'Toxic', from 2004. 

The star tweeted Crowe, enclosing the picture, writing: "LOL. Cute hat @RussellCrowe. You wear it well. Maybe we should perform a Toxic/Work Song mashup ;)."

Russell's singing the enjoyable surprise of 'Les Mis', fans can only hope that he takes Ms Spears up on the offer of a duet or mash up. 

Russell had retweeted a pic from a fan comparing the two, and then tweeted Spears writing:"@britneyspears Hello young lady. Such a lovely colour on you." 

Could Brit's response mean we'll see a duet? We certainly hope so.
