Britney: Piece of Me has already outsold Celine, Elton, and Shania on StubHub.
Britney Spears’ residency is the top Las Vegas show of the year at online ticket retailer StubHub.
Britney: Piece of Me, which began Dec. 27 at Planet Hollywood, has already outsold Las Vegas residencies by Celine Dion, Elton John, Shania Twain, and Rod Stewart on StubHub’s 2013/2014 list. It is also the third highest-selling Las Vegas residency ever, behind only Celine Dion’s show which began in 2011 and Elton John’s, which began in 2009.
Spears has only performed four shows so far, but tickets are available through September.
StubHub declined to provide exact sales figures, but said 14% of all tickets sold for her show so far this year were for her Feb. 14 show.
Britney Spears has previewed a new remix package online.
The singer's new track 'It Should Be Easy' - which has been lifted from her latest album Britney Jean - has been given four official re-workings.
The song - which features will.i.am - has been remixed by Firebeatz, Westfunk, Zoo Station and Greg Cerrone for a new club bundle. You can listen to snippets of the remixes online.
However, a spokesperson for Spears confirmed to Digital Spy that 'It Should Be Easy' will not be the third single from Britney Jean.
The remixes have been commissioned purely to be used in nightclubs and on radio.
Meanwhile, Spears will officially release 'Perfume' as her new single on January 26.
Oops … Britney Spears has done it again … and this time, she’s joined by Sia.
Her latest single off Britney Jean, “Perfume,” has been given a fresh, acoustic sound in a fan-made rendition that also features Sia, who wrote the ballad.
The new version, which was created by Lucas/Country Club Martini Crew, evokes a more raw and personal vibe than the upbeat radio version of the song.
Which version of “Perfume” do you like better?
